Cookie and storage notice
A short list, because the site loads no third party host and measures nothing across sites.
Version 1.0.0 Effective 2026-08-24 Last updated 2026-08-24
In short
Applies to: Anyone who loads a page on this site
- The site sets no advertising storage and loads no third party host.
- Every key the site writes is named on this page with its lifetime.
- A browser signal that asks not to be tracked is honoured without a banner.
What this site stores
Each key below is written by this site and read by this site. Nothing here is shared with another company, and nothing here follows you to another website.
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lifetime | Category | How to switch it off |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| tv-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark palette | Until you clear site data | Strictly necessary for the preference it records | Set it back to the system setting, or clear site data |
| tv-consent | Local storage | Records the choice you made about optional measurement, so you are not asked twice | 6 months, then you are asked again | Strictly necessary | The cookie preferences control in the footer |
| tv-session | Cookie | Keeps you signed in once an account exists | 30 days, or until you sign out | Strictly necessary | Sign out |
What this site does not store
No advertising identifier. No cross site identifier. No third party tag, pixel or script of any kind. On a first visit with a clean profile, nothing is written until you make a choice, and the network panel shows requests to this origin and nowhere else.
Measurement
Site measurement is first party and cookieless. It counts page level events so we can tell which pages get read, and it does not build a profile of you or follow you anywhere. It is off until you turn it on.
Browser signals
Changing your mind
The cookie preferences control in the footer of every page reopens the choice. Withdrawing is one click and takes effect immediately, and anything already stored under the choice you are withdrawing is removed at the same time.
