Billing and plans

Cancelling takes 3 clicks or fewer from the account page and there is nobody to talk to first. What you have already paid for stays yours until the period ends. Refunds are on the refunds page, stated in full, including the statutory right.
Cancel your plan, and what happens to sessions you have paid for
It is 3 clicks or fewer, in the account, with no retention screen in the way. That is a commitment we publish rather than a description of the current build, and the commitments page is where it is written down.
01
Open the account page
Cancelling lives in the account rather than behind a support address. Nobody has to be asked and nothing has to be explained.
What you should see. A cancel control on the page, named as one.
02
Choose to cancel
There is no retention interstitial, no discount offer and no exit interview. The next screen is the confirmation and not a negotiation.
What you should see. One confirmation, stating what you keep and when the plan ends.
03
Confirm
That is the end of it. The subscription stops renewing from that moment.
What you should see. A confirmation you can read, and an email saying the same thing.
What happens to what you have paid for
| Item | What happens |
|---|---|
| Sessions inside the period you have paid for | Yours until the period ends. Cancelling does not shorten it. |
| Sessions you have not used when the period ends | They stop being available with the plan. They are an allowance rather than a balance. |
| Transcripts and briefs | They stay in the account and stay exportable. Cancelling a plan is not deleting an account. |
| The account itself | It stays open with no plan on it. Deleting it is a separate decision with its own page. |
| A refund, where you are inside the window | Self serve, and the refunds page states the window and the statutory right in full. |
What a session costs
What is settled is the shape: what counts as a session, what a plan includes, and what happens when you run out. That is on the pricing page and it does not change when the figure lands.
If a charge looks wrong
Send us the date and the last four digits of the card, and nothing else. We can find a charge from that and we do not need the full number, an image of the card, or a bank statement.
A charge you did not recognise on a card you no longer hold is a fraud question rather than a billing one. Tell your bank first and us second.
Still stuck
Write to support@tingvar.com. A person replies within 2 business days, Monday to Friday. Billing questions reach the same person as everything else, which is the point of a company this size.
